About the Tour
Would you like to swim alongside whale sharks during your Mexico visit? This exceptional opportunity is offered daily from June to September. We'll pick you up from your hotel and head to Puerto Sam in Cancun, where we'll organize groups of no more than 10 people per boat. Once ready, we'll set off for the whale shark area.

During the trip, you'll have the chance to enjoy 2 to 3 dives lasting 10 to 15 minutes each, in pairs. These dives allow for safe encounters with these magnificent creatures as they swim near the surface. After the sightings, we'll return to the boat for a snack of water and fruit, before heading back to Puerto Sam and dropping you off at your hotel.

Please note: applying sunscreen is not permitted during the tour to avoid harm to the marine ecosystem. While we strive to spot whale sharks, sightings are not guaranteed, though they are typically rare. Refunds won't be issued if whale sharks aren't spotted. Additionally, federal regulations mandate a minimum of 2 whale sharks for swimming encounters; otherwise, only sightings are allowed. Therefore, dive opportunities depend on the number of whale sharks present that day.
